Ingredients to make Homemade Curry For Meat

Meat — one recipe is nominally for 1 pound of meat, but if you want more sauce, double everything but the meat. We’ve used beef, chicken, chicken sausage, turkey sausage, kielbasa, etc.
1 small onion
1-inch piece fresh ginger, or 1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 medium-sized tomato, or half a 14-oz can whole tomatoes, drained
1 head fresh cilantro
1-2 hot green chilies
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 teaspoons store-bought garam masala. You may have to go to an Indian or Middle-Eastern grocer for garam masala, although I’ll be shocked if they are not stocking it in grocery stores these days.
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 cup plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon tomato paste
3/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
3 tablespoons vegetable oil (don’t scale this up when you make more — you only need it to saute the garlic).
4 cloves garlic
Ground black peppper

Directions to make Homemade Curry For Meat

Step 1:

Cut the meat into small cubes. Chop the onion, ginger, tomatoes and cilantro finely. Either seed the chilies (if you want it less hot) or not, and slice them into thin rings. Mix together the onion, ginger, tomato, cilantro, chilies, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, yoghurt, tomato paste and salt in a bowl. If you are using beef as the meat, mix that in as well.

Step 2:

Chop the garlic finely. Heat the oil over medium-high heat in a Dutch Oven, and add the garlic. Saute until it starts turning a medium brown. Now add the contents of the bowl, stir once or twice, and turn the heat to low. Simmer, covered, stirring every now and then.

Step 3:

If you are using beef, you should simmer for 2 hours. Otherwise, you\’ll only need to simmer for an hour. Add chicken 30 minutes before eating. If using cooked sausage (like Kielbasa), add that 15 minutes before eating. If using an uncooked sausage, I like to fry it first, drain, and then add it 15 minutes before eating. Top with fresh ground pepper.

Ingredients to make Gingered Steak and Peppers

2 lb Lean round steak
2 Green peppers, chopped
2 tb Minced dried onion
1 c Beef boullion
1/4 c Soy sauce
1/2 ts Ground ginger
1/2 ts Garlic powder

Directions to make Gingered Steak and Peppers

Step 1:Cut steak into serving size portions. Place half the steak in Crockpot. Arrange green peppers on steak. Place remaining steak on top.
Step 2:Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. cover and cook on Low setting for 8 to 10 hours, or high for 4 to 5 hours.

Basil Vinaigrette Salad Dressing:
4 lg Garlic cloves
2 T Dried basil
1 1/2 t Sugar
1 T Dry mustard
3 T Fresh lemon juice
6 T Red wine vinegar
2 t Kosher salt
1 t Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/4 c Olive oil

2 ea Zucchinis, halved lengthwise, 1/2-inch pieces
6 oz Dried fusilli pasta
3 Cooked chicken breast halves,1/2-inch cubes
2 md Tomatoes, diced
3 Green onions, chopped
12 Black olives
1/4 c Toasted pine nuts
1/2 c Grated fresh parm cheese

Directions to make All American Chicken Pasta Salad

Step 1:Basil Vinaigrette Dressing: Mince garlic in a food processor. Add 1 1/2T basil, sugar, mustard, lemon juice, 2t salt and 1t pepper. Process 10 seconds. With the machine running, drizzle in oil until slightly thickened. The vegetables and chicken will dilute the intense flavor of the dressing. Makes 1 3/4c.
Step 2:Steam zucchini 1 minute and drain. Cool under running water. Cook pasta al dente, cool under running water, drain and dry.
Step 3:In separate bowls, toss chicken, zucchini, pasta and tomatoes with 1/4 cup dressing each. Gently combine chicken, zucchini, pasta and green onions. Adjust seasonings and dressings to taste. Spoon salad onto a platter. Sprinkle tomatoes, olives and pine nuts on top. Pass cheese separately.

Step 1:Cut tips off wings. In a large bowl, combine milk, extract and wings. Stir to mix well. Marinate at least 2 hours (or overnight).
Step 2:In another bowl, combine potatoes, curry and coconut. Take wings out of marinade and roll in potato mixture. Place slightly apart on well greased cookie sheets.
Step 3:Combine butter & garlic. Drizzle over wings. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees until browned - 45 minutes.

Ingredients to make Sante Fe Chicken Lasagna

12 lasagne noodles, uncooked
vegetable oil cooking spray
1 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts, diced
4 cups low-sodium spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons hot sauce, or more to taste
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 container part-skim ricotta cheese, about 15 ounces
1/2 cup egg substitute
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Directions to make Sante Fe Chicken Lasagna

Step 1:Spray a large skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add chicken; saute 4 minutes. Drain well. Stir in spaghetti sauce, water, hot sauce, vinegar and garlic salt.
Step 2:In a small bowl, combine ricotta cheese and egg substitute. Set aside. Spray a 9 x 13inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Step 3:Spread 1 cup of the sauce over the bottom of the pan. Arrange 4 lasagne noodles over the sauce. Cover with 1 1/2 cups of the sauce. Spread half the ricotta mixture on top. Arrange another 4 lasagna noodles over ricotta, and top with another 1 1/2 cups of sauce. Spread remaining ricotta mixture on top. Arrange final 4 lasagne noodles over ricotta mixture and cover with remaining sauce.
Step 4:Preheat oven to 350. Cover lasagne with foil and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes. Uncover lasagne, sprinkle blue cheese on top and bake an additional 5 minutes uncovered. Cover and let stand 15 minutes before serving.

Step 1:Combine Miracle Whip and sour cream. Crumble and stir in the blue cheese. Cut the celery into sticks.
Step 2:Chop onion and mince garlic. Cook onion in oil over medium heat until soft, about 2 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for one more minute. Squeeze in the juice from the lemon. Stir in tomato sauce, Tabasco and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3:Remove wing tips and cut wings in half at the joint. Heat oil for deep frying to 375oF. Cook wings in hot oil until brown, about 8 minutes.
